Alyssa HIggs
Alyssa has had a passion for working with animals from a young age, growing up surrounded by beloved family pets. She began her career at a dog daycare, boarding, and grooming facility, where she gained experience in grooming and managing safe group environments. It was there that she discovered a deeper callingâhelping dogs with behavioral challenges and building trust with those who needed it most.
Alyssa’s Beginning to now
Her journey became personal when she met Callie, a foster dog with behavioral issues who quickly became a life-changing match. Wanting to better support Callieâs fear and reactivity, Alyssa pursued training and was introduced to K9 Fluent, where they completed a Boot Camp program together. Seeing the transformation in her own dog inspired her to help others experience that same sense of hope and progress.
Now a trainer, Alyssa is passionate about helping owners build confidence, strengthen communication with their dogs, and create lasting, trusting relationships. She is dedicated to continued learning and takes pride in guiding both dogs and their owners toward a more balanced, fulfilling life together.
