As K9 Fluent’s Training Manager, MyKenzie is passionate about helping people and dogs reach their full potential. Having started her own journey as a K9 Fluent client, she understands firsthand the challenges—and the life-changing rewards—that come with training.

MyKenzie’s journey into professional dog training began not as a trainer, but as a client seeking guidance for her own two dogs through K9 Fluent’s Bootcamp program. Experiencing the transformation in both her dogs and her everyday life gave her firsthand insight into the power of proper training, clear communication, structure, and leadership. That experience sparked a passion for helping other owners achieve the same level of understanding and connection with their dogs.
Mykenzie’s Beginning to now
Driven by that passion, MyKenzie approached Tiffany with the desire to pursue dog training professionally and asked to be mentored part-time under her guidance. At the time, MyKenzie was balancing a demanding full-time career working on base as an ART and reservist, often working 12-hour night shifts before dedicating her remaining hours to studying, training, and gaining hands-on experience at K9 Fluent. Her work ethic, dedication, and commitment to growth quickly became evident as she immersed herself in learning every aspect of dog training, client education, and canine behavior.
What began as a part-time mentorship soon evolved into a full-time career and true calling. After nearly a year of balancing both professions, MyKenzie transitioned fully into K9 Fluent, where she rapidly advanced into the role of Training Manager. Throughout her journey, she developed not only a deep passion for dog training, but also a strong commitment to helping dogs and their owners build lasting relationships rooted in trust, clarity, and communication.
MyKenzie is committed to ongoing education and professional development to ensure she provides the highest level of support to both clients and their dogs. Her certifications and accomplishments include membership with the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP), certification as an AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Evaluator, and designation as an AKC FitDog Level 2 Instructor. She continues to expand her knowledge through seminars, conferences, online education, hands-on experience, and continued work with dogs of all breeds, temperaments, and behavioral challenges.
One of the most rewarding aspects of MyKenzie’s work is witnessing the transformation that occurs when both dogs and owners gain confidence, understanding, and clearer communication with one another. Helping create that connection — and ultimately improving the quality of life for both ends of the leash — is what continues to fuel her passion for training every day.
